One Night Stand and Pure Poetry

Sometimes our perception of a notion becomes especially bright if compared with another concept which can draw a sharp line between the two of them. It means that one thing stands out especially sharply if compared with its polarity.

How do we imagine a typical one night stand? Two hyper-horny people are being involved in a sexual intercourse which can imply any type of sensual limitlessness with all its dirty details, positions and inventions. The whole affair can prompt things which people normally do not perform in their conventional sex life – starting with intricate positions ending with dirty perversions.

And now let's try and put this image of a dirty one night stand on one line with romantic feelings and emotions, with innocence and pure poetry of a relationship, with beautiful romantic songs which scarcely suggest the fact that people can actually have dirty rough sex, for instance. It doesn't mean that we must compare these two notions, the differences are too obvious anyway.

The trick is just to enjoy the dramatic realization of their immense difference and immensely difficult character of human relations as well as interaction (or a fight) of spiritual and sensual sides of a relationship.
